How to Install Apache2 on Ubuntu

Step 1: – Install Apache2

# sudo apt-get update
installed apache2 on ubantu

# sudo apt-get install -y apache2
installed apache2 on ubantu

Step 2 – Firewall Allow

# sudo ufw app list
installed apache2 on ubantu

# sudo ufw allow ‘Apache’
installed apache2 on ubantu

# sudo ufw status
installed apache2 on ubantu

When firewall status is inactive then we need to enable it.

# sudo ufw enable
installed apache2 on ubantu

# sudo ufw status
installed apache2 on ubantu

Step 3 – Check Web Server

# sudo service apache2 status
installed apache2 on ubantu

Hit bellow url on browser and the default apache page will appear

http://localhost/ or http://127.0.0.1/
installed apache2 on ubantu
